About Me
CURRENT MISSION
discover what I haven't already discovered!
ABOUT ME
one word first: alive. That means cheerful and talkative, inclined to party whenever there is an opportunity to do it. Means also: full of positive energy, ready to do any kind of enjoyable experience, as soon as it seems good to me! Means also: sensible( very), so ready to cry or laugh, to share and listen every little story which makes part of big HIStory. Therefore I don't spare my time when it comes to understanding people surrounding me.
PHILOSOPHY
Kind of common, but "carpe diem" could be my credo. I feel guilty when I don't enjoy and live the day as if tomorrow should never come ( and it can happen!). My rule is trying to turn every negative experience into a possible positive one( indian people say: "good luck, bad luck, who knows?"). And, as far as possible, to let my burdens behind me, so that they won't prevent me from catching every opportunity .
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've got a main advantage: I can cook pretty well, and I love that! So my first way of participate could be that. In the meantime, I can't ignore my interest for human relationship. But as both are
coinciding very well, my participation could be: drinking and sharing while cooking.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None! it's my first application… better late than never!
Interests
A lot! From music( classical or other), to theater (que tu peux écrire aussi theatre), trekking or climbing, tango( and dance, generally), painting( although I have no gift for that!), cooking( particularly indian or thai food), cinema( with a certain predilection for "old" movies, with "old" actors, still young), yoga/ meditation, and I'm surely forgetting many things!

Music, Movies, and Books
Aïe! so difficult to answer! Maybe "Vier lezte lieder" from R. Strauss for lyrical art, and for the rest… Asaf Avidan, Nina Simone and Moriarty are my gods to listen at this time. I read William Boyd as I put on my slippers: with delectation. But I also rediscovered Balzac with fascination. Talking about films, I am as well fond of "Un singe en hiver", old film with Jean Gabin and Jean-Paul Belmondo, as "Le grand soir"( a black humor movie of A. Dupontel), or "Un prophète", from J. Audiard…
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Recently: watching at sunset in Chupaderos( Mexico), hanging in my harnes at the top of the cliff after a difficult path!
A few years ago: seeing the audience bursting into laugh when I play the role of the naive fiancée in the theater play!
Teach, Learn, Share
Being an ex lyrical singer, I can show you how to vocalize, that will certainly help you one day...
I can also teach you french, that too, can be useful one day( but less than singing), and I can teach you how to do a perfect french-dressing! There is nothing I am not interessed to learn, as soon as things are taught with passion. Languages are fascinating to me, as well as cultural diversity, whether viewed under its most general aspects or its most stupid details( those always reveal a lot, don't they?)
