Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have met some great people through couchsurfing, and I thought it might be fun to host as well as surf. However, it can at times be a bit difficult the place I live, so so far I've only hosted one surfer. This was however great fun. Last year I couchsurfed in France, which was also a good experience.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had a great experience so far meeting a lot of other open-minded people. I hope to meet even more and get a chance to be a couchsurfer more in the future too.
Interests
I love food, art, literature, boardgames, dancing, being impulsive, politics, culture and society, yoga and meditation. Furthermore, I really enjoy getting to know other people's interests and why it is interesting to them.
Music, Movies, and Books
Books: some of muy favorites are The Unbearable Lightness of Being, 1984, Harry Potter, short stories by Jens Blendstrup as they are wacky and interesting :) Al sorts of music from Reggeaton and Disco to Jazz and Rock depending on my mood and the occation.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think the most amazing thing I've ever done was to meet and get to know my Peruvian host family who are some of the most caring people I know.
Other amazing things I've done include a stay with natives in the Amazonian, fishing pirañas and drinking Ayahuasca. And roadtrips to Northern and Southern Spain eating great food, drinking great wine and most important of all meeting awesome local people!
Teach, Learn, Share
I mainly know about politics, Danish, and litterature.
I would love to learn about new things :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I cook alright (especially a few simple dishes like mushroom risotto, pasta with homemade pesto, salmon and potato-salad, Danish dishes like fried pork with parsley souce) and I love learning to cook something new.
Furthermore I can share my views and knowledge of politics ect - I have my stand points, but I am not blind to good arguments (it is however far from the only subject that interests me.)
