I'm a (mostly) lively and pretty sporty person who loves to laugh (sometimes too much perhaps ;-)) and who's alsways interested in meeting new people from all around the world - no matter what country (however, some command of English would be great :-)). I'd love to explore the whole world with all its beautiful places and people even if I have to travel on my own... no problem to me cause I'm always sure I'll make some new contacts. Guess couchsurfing is an excellent possibility to make it more easier! :-)

PHILOSOPHY

I'm living now and I'm not the person who thinks much of the future. I want to be happy and have fun or do what I want to do - now. Don't care about tomorrow. I know (or as my family always says) it's perhaps not the best attitude, but it's mine! You never know what's going to happen, so do it as long as u can do it!!

Interests

Doing and watching sports! This is one of my biggest hobbies! So u should be a bit like this, too... or u will be bored sometimes. ;-) In my flat you'll have the possibilitiy to use my litte "gym"... okay, it's just a weight bench and a crosstrainer... but better than nothing. ;-) On weekends I watch soccer in the stadium or TV - my favourite team is Schalke 04.
To me, sports is a good thing to do in leisure. I have to work till evening (in an office) so I need something to "burn" my energy. However, I often spend the whole night on my (your) couch while eating ice cream and fries and drinking beer .. so don't be afraid, I'm not a sports-addict. ;-)
Okay... let's talk about sth else... A big thing which makes my life interesting is - surprise - travelling... I love especially big cities of the world,, my favourite one is New York City! After my hometown Gelsenkirchen of course. ;-)
To name some more interests: going out and have some drinks (or some more... I love beer! ;-)), cinema, eating and sleeping (long in the morning, I'm not a person who likes to get up early in the morning... in order not to say I hate it!! I'm sure you'll notice that when you're here. ;-)), music concerts, amusement parks with big thrills, so on... normal stuff!

Music, Movies, and Books

music: almost everything, especially Rock and German music. My fav band? Rammstein!! Like that hard sound and I love seeing them on stage!
movies: comedy!!! and horror or thriller. But I'm not specified, I watch all kind of movie!
Fav series: Big Bang Theory, Friends, King of Queens, 30 Rock, Scrubs, Monk, 2 Broke Girls, How I met your mother, Grey's Anatomy, Dexter
Books: Thriller, for example Tess Gerritsen

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Kingda Ka in USA! The tallest and (to that time) fastest roller coaster in the world!
- Riding Formula Rossa (fastest roller coaster on earth) 33 times at one day
- cities like New York, Sydney, Cape Town, Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, Dubai...
- visited London for the olympic Games
-cage diving with the great white shark in SA
- visited many Rammstein Shows in Europe / North America
- snorkeling in hawaii
- was in Maracana, Rio de Janeiro, for the world cup final 2014 --> we got it!!!

I would like to improve my English... the best way to do it is to speak! Unfortunately I haven't got chances to speak English in Germany so I'm getting worse and forget much vocabulary...
