About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Get wonderfully lost before graduate school (and until my health insurance runs out!$
ABOUT ME
I am a south Florida (Miami) native, who went to college in Ohio, and has studied in Ireland.
I adore traveling. The people you meet, the sights, sounds, and feels that each new turn unveils, and the opportunities that await. Whether traveling another continent, or exploring my city, there is always something new and exciting to uncover.
PHILOSOPHY
Never give yourself the opportunity to look back and say "What if". I believe in the good of people. I believe that the world, and the people in it are inherently good.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people who embody cities and the hosting spirit
Interests
I love new experiences; food, people, animals, and adventure. I am an avid equestrian, and am always looking for a way to see the world on horseback.
I love photography and journalism. Words are my art medium. They bounce around in my head until my hand is able to paint them on paper.
I love people. Wonderful people with good food and drinks are my favorite means of traveling. I believe

Music, Movies, and Books
Harry Potter, The Gargoyle, and the occasional romance.
Music: lover of all types of music. Classic rock set's my heart fluttering. I was raised around country and alternative rock. I am not proficient in musical instruments, but love to raise my voice and sing.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Caving in North Yorkshire National Park!!! 1 week with 10 international students wandering underneath the Yorkshire Dales. Our Hostel was very basic, 30 people crammed into a common area and kitchen with lots of musky caving gear. It was heaven.
A weekend spent in Calabria, Italy. Those in the hostel became family. An vivacious host, and friendly minds made the days brighter than the sun reflected in the water.
Teach, Learn, Share
- Wine and beer will bring people together. Vodka tends to drive people apart, with foggy heads.
- A shared meal can open up even the most stubborn of minds.
- A warm couch is a safe place.
- Think twice before responding, but never about going somewhere new.
What I Can Share with Hosts
An eager ear, an open mind, and stories a plenty.
