ABOUT ME

I love singing, dancing, travelling, meeting new people and eating good food :-)

I live in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. I am born here and I love the city. But I also love travelling and exploring other cultures and I have a dream of living in many other countries of the world.

I am studying to be a teacher in the subjects danish and english in the danish primary and secondary school.

PHILOSOPHY

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a big fan of CS because you get to know a country and it's people "from inside" and it is a perfect contrary to being a tourist.

I have used couchsurfing a lot - travelling around Europe and West Africa (Burkina Faso, Benin, Kenya, Marocco, Berlin, Barcelona). I have mostly travelled in undevelloped countries and for some reason I always get capturized by rural areas and communities.

The craziest CS experiences I had was when I travelled for one month alone in Burkina Faso staying with local tribes in the most rural and poor areas of the country. It was overwhelming to be recieved with such openness and hospitality and I truly understand why the people of Burkina Faso are refered to as "the worlds kindest people".

兴趣

I enjoy cooking good food and baking like a real housewife as well as I love cycling, rollerblading and running and being close to the sea!

During winter I ice skate and I am a big fan of spending a sunday with a bad hangover in a hot and steaming scandinavian sauna, ah!

Drinking coffee and going to flea markets.

I love working with children in all ages and do volunteer work.

I love travelling and I have travelled a lot, mostly in Afrika and Asia - doing volunteer work and backpacking.
Last year I lived in Benin, West Afrika, where I worked as an intern for a Danish NGO working with childrens' rights.
