I am a 32 year old single mom who loves to read and write, always curious to meet people around the world.

We are a non-smoking vegetarian/vegan household in the beautiful district of Friedrichshain.

I love talks about politics, good music and white wine.

I might not be able to show you around because I am working full time but happy to host you and give you a few ideas about life in Berlin.

I normally don't host more more then two nights because we don't have the living situation for that. I also ask you to bring a sleeping bag if possible because we try to take care about environment and changing sheets after you slept in it once is not very environmental friendly.

We won't accept any racism, sexism, homophobia or other discriminating behaviour in our flat. There might be different people coming and going, if you don't accept individual freedom of every person, you are not welcome.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet new people. Also I want my son to grow up as a kind person, beeing open minded and friendly. I think opening your house for other people is a good way to remember ourself about staying tolerant and curious about the things, that happen around us.

Interests

We are food lovers. We follow a vegetarian diet, trying to avoid processed food if possible. You will find lots of homemade food in our place and if you have something special from your homecountry or your travel, we would love to try it.

Please notice, that I am asking you, not to eat or cook meat in our place.

Beside this I love to read, to walk around, to have a good chat with people about life and love and the less important things.

I learn to program and if its to cold to go outside, I am into DIY stuff.

From time to time I like to go out, mostly bars and singing Karaoke.

I am a music lover. We listen a lot to alternative music, german or international. If you stay at our place, there will be music all the time.

I am not a lot into watching television and movies but I love books.

Teach, Learn, Share

We love to learn more about food, DIY stuff but the greatest gift you can give is sharing a bit of time and a few good stories over a bottle of wine.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a good story teller and I love to listen to stories of other people, kind of collecting them in my head. Also I am a great vegan cook and carry a bottle of german peppermint liquer with me most of the time (well, that sounds a bit alcoholic, I am not, just love to spread this drink everywhere in the world).
