About Me

I'm a vegan, books, tv show and movie fan, trying to do sports and socialize more.
I work helping disabled kids to be in school with other kids, i help them write and understand the lessons. I love being with kids, there's always something new with them.
I'm always trying to evolve.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard a lot about couchsurfing, a friend of mine made a huge trip to the US with it. It's convenient plus it helps people discover a country in a new way. I use carpool to make trips to see friends and i love to meet new people even for a short time. Talking about so many subjects and sharing little spots and places that are worth a try. Couchsurfing means that people can travel for a less amount of money and i love to know that traveling can be affordable for a lot of people that way. The world is full of wonders and people need to see them all. It opens the mind and brings a new light on how we see people's lives.

Interests

I love movies, books, tv shows, musicals, nature and traveling.
I love thrift shops and i eat organic food. I try to do sports every week, jogging, cycling downtown, yoga and hiking when i can.
I came back to hiking a lot last summer, i used to hike every summer with my family. This time i tried on my own and loved it so much i can't wait to put on my hiking shoes and go up a mountain whenever i can.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to folk and soft stuff most of the time and when i have a crush on a movie soundtrack or a musical soundtrack i listen to it all the time.

I love reading but read very slowly. My favorite books are Dune by Frank Herbert, Dark Tower by King and books by Robin Hobb, Armistead Maupin. I'm opened to any genre and loved widening my selections with a bookclub on twitter. I discovered Margaret Atwood and read biographies.

Favorite movies : Dune, 2001 Space Odyssey, Lord of the Rings, Akira, The Fall, The Village, works from Wes Anderson and Michel Gondry, Donnie Darko and so many more...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the first sunrise of the year on a beach in south of France with my best friend several years back. We felt like we were at the edge of the world, and near the meaning of life itself. I'll always remember how the sun seemed to rise from the sea and stay stuck to it like it didn't want to go up. It looked like lava shaping into a sphere. I felt really small in this huge universe.

More recently i did some paragliding and it was amazing, and then i tried some tree top adventure courses and there was a part with a zip line and i got the same sensations again! it's like flying it's amazing !

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to learn new languages. I understand them better than i can speak them though.
I know how to knit.
I love sharing hiking tips and stories. It makes me want to visit the world and hike everywhere.
I do yoga.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook some dishes like french crepes or vegetables galettes.
Show the city when i have time and recommend some restaurants/bars even though i don't get out often.
Help with the tram/train around.
