Overview
About Me
I work as a remote employee for a university. I am married, own my own home and have 2 adult children and one grandchild. Growing up in a large family, I learned early on that I enjoyed meeting people and having new experiences. Sometimes I travel by RV, other times by car or airplane.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to meet people from all over and as I grow older I am doing things that my younger-self was never able to do because of other responsibilities and fear. I love traveling and while my husband does as well, he does not have the flexibility I do. I really want to meet people, travel in a safe environment and have FUN! I have some chronic health issues, so sleeping in my car works for several days at a time, but there are times when I need to stretch out on a couch, floor or otherwise- get out of my car.
I am also photographing schools across America, working on an ABCs of America and a Hospice DIY book.

I can teach needle felting
I want to learn about traveling with chronic illness, meditation and more opportunities to make money on the road so I can continue doing traveling.
During my next trip I will be taking a workshop on being a death doula or a death midwife- this is someone who holds space for those who are dying. I believe in the philosophy that No One (should) Dies Alone (NODA).
