Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find it incredibly beautiful that people open their lives and homes to a stranger, and by the end of it, that person is no longer a stranger. The idea of connecting with others on such a personal level, sharing experiences, and learning from one another is what draws me to Couchsurfing.

Interests

I love hiking and was recently in Nepal, which was a fascinating experience. I also just started a climbing course, so I’m still a beginner. Nature and animals are my passion, and I also enjoy cycling and playing board games. Museums and cultural experiences are great at the right moment, and I’m always interested in personal growth and development. I love learning and am open to new experiences and challenges.

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely love reading! I’m still in my Stephen King phase but slowly getting into the classics and discovering biographies as well. When it comes to movies, I’m a huge Quentin Tarantino fan, but I also have a passion for black-and-white films and anything that's unique in its own way. As for music, I’ve recently fallen in love with soul, but I also enjoy techno festivals and still have a deep appreciation for Woodstock and the classics!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Since 2022, I’ve discovered my love for backpacking and have already had amazing encounters with fellow travelers. However, I’m eager to connect more with locals to experience the country from a different perspective. My first Couchsurfing experiences have been incredibly positive, and I’m excited to meet more wonderful hosts and explore even deeper!
