About Me
My name is Annie, and I'm from a beautiful little town in rural New York, USA. I'm currently on a gap year, traveling throughout France before beginning university. I'm eager to meet new people, experience different ways of life, and improve my French. So far I've volunteered at a bed and breakfast, lived in the alps for a month, and taken French language courses in the city of Tours, worked as an Au Pair, and lived at a Buddhist monastery.
I love being with children, cooking together, sharing delicious food, knitting, running, hiking, being in nature, stargazing, backpacking, unicycling, playing board games, drinking tea, reading and watching movies.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of my many reasons for taking a gap year is to witness as many corners of the world as I can - to meet as many people, see as many different ways of life, and exchange as much as possible. It's a privilege to share your world for a little while!
