About Me

I'm an 21 year old Dane, travelled the world - hitchhiked - also tried couchsurfing, and learned that it is the best way to explore a city as a solo traveller.

I'm currently living in Montpellier, to learn french (B1), so I can talk french if you want, but for the juicy stories - i might have to explain in english.

I'm very easy going, travelled around the world as a female solo traveller, and have slept maybe a week in total in various airports, so I'll be very happy to sleep on your couch and hopefully share some fun times together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's the best way to learn a new culture and meet new people with fascinating stories and perspectives. I like the diversity of the site, families with chidren, senior citizens and young students all willing to meet a stranger, that might become a new friend :)

Interests

Social science and learning about other cultures, traditions and basically just expanding my knowlegde about other people's way of life.. it's fascinating to know, that some people live polar oppesite to me, yet we are alike.
I enjoy discussing history, politics and of course music. Live music is the best way to fully enjoy a good guitar riff!

Music, Movies, and Books

The Black Keys, Mac Demarco, Tame Impala, Kakkmaddafakka, but also a sucker for current hits on the radio

Any book about historical events.. especially ww2 and cold war themed

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked the Annapurna Circuit in 3 weeks (with a badass french girl) - lived in a tent for 3 weeks in NZ, with 2 of them being in heavy rain - and just hitchhiking my way around - (Almost joined a cult, but i got free cookies!)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to uni-cycle.. in case you have one. Otherwise I'm a good at learning people useful Danish phrases or whatever they might need to survive in Denmark.
If you have any skills, please feel free to share.. I tried guitar, didnt work.. and 'smoke on the water' doesnt count :)
I can share a good time, some fun stories about the time I lived in Alabama or my time as a street fundraiser.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A good time and hopefully get a nice and fun experience out of it. I have previously been an exchange student in Alabama, stayed with a host family and later went to India for a school exchange as well.. I always had a great time as a guest and loved hosting as well!
