ABOUT ME

I like to be alive, and have a great interest in life!How does other people live their lives and why? Meeting new people and new lifestyles is a great pleasure for me. I wish to live life to the fullest extent and hope to keep meeting new horizons.

I'm adventurous and serious at the same time and very sincere. I love litterature and music. I mostly read classic littlerature and my favorite author is Tolstoy. I like a lot of different music, from jazz to rock and folk -as long as it touches something in my heart I don't care so much for genre.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am pretty new to CS, but I love the idea and as a part of my interest in differences and similarities between people I find couch surfing an ideal and interesting way to meet people and learn about different cultures -and of course have a good time :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met some great people in France through Couchsurfing, and surfed couched in the Balkan area the summer of 2010 :)

Interests

Travelling, exploring cultures and languages. By far my interest nr. 1. Litterature, I love the magic of words. Writing, as a part of my passion for words I try to do my part. Music, used to play a lot on my double bass, but time os short at the moment. I still listen to musik almost 24h a day. Cooking is becoming more and more an interest of mine. I like spicy food and to come up with new dishes. Films and photography, a beatiful media and a fascination way to tell stories.

Films: Into the Wild, Trainspotting, everything by Almodovar, Hiroshima mon amour, Vivre sa vie, A bout de souflle(I like french new wave), Casablanca, Persepolis, Eternal Sunshine of a spotless mind, Dirty Dancing, Paris je t'aime, Om Shanti Om, Dr. Zhivago -a mix of everything really :P

Music: pop, jazz, blues, rock, folk, americana, again a good deal of everything! I don't care so much for genre, but for integrity, originality and that something that goes straight into the heart! Esperanza Spalding, american doublebass player and singer -simply amazing! Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, Miles Davis, Camille, Neil Young, Balkan Beat Box, Chick Corea, Conor Oberst, Band of Horses, Patti Smith, Pat Metheny, Calexico, Bob Dylan, Kitty, Daisy and Lewis, The rumour said fire, Thomas Dybdahl, Amy Winehouse, Rosa Passos, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Morrisey, Cat Power, Nick Cave, Coco Rosie and and and..!

Books: I simply love to read and enjoy everything from Sartre to Tolstoy to Harry Potter!
