About Me

I've quit my job and I'm having a good break travelling in Asia.
I don't really like to speak about me, it's always a very difficult exercise that makes me feel pretentious... But I try to be respectful with people (I don't do to them what i would not like them to do to me). I try to be natural and honest, and I can probably say that I'm not a exigent person, as I prefer to live simply. I'm also really concerned by the protection of our environment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I'm discovering new countries, I think couch surfing is one of the best way to meet some new people of the place, share experiences and learn a lot. I'm not a big fan of all organised trips, surrounded only by other tourists. It's always nice to discuss and exchange experiences with other travelers, but i need more, and meeting local peoples, discovering their way of living are the greatest advantages of traveling abroad.
I hope to share my home and my own knowledge about France when I will be back there.

Interests

Travelling (of course!), Trekking, diving, camping, reading, having good times with friends drinking a good Belgian beer!

Music, Movies, and Books

Reggae, ska, rock, punk, chansons francaises...
Pennac, Murakami, Dickër, Houellebecq... Also comics
Tarantino, Burton, Gondry

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen wild orcas in Argentina, one of my child's dream!
I made an amazing trek in the Taman Negara National Parc in Malaysia, one the oldest forest in the world

Teach, Learn, Share

With this travel, I expect to see amazing natural and cultural sites of course, but I don't want to run everyday just to visit all what they recommend in the books. I want also to discover and simply enjoy life where I am.
I really hope to be more and more open minded.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Curiosity!
Sharing a drink and a discussion in a bar, make a walk or visit a nice place if you have time...
I can also offer to cook a nice dinner, or at least try (unfortunately I'm not a French chef, but I like and I miss cooking!)

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Guadeloupe, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Martinique, Mayotte, Morocco, New Caledonia, Spain, Vanuatu

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada
