About Me
As I just graduated (from a master's degree in book publishing), I thought the best way to start my "adult life" would be to go travelling across the US, by myself!
Also, I grew up in several countries (US, France, Germany, Zimbabwe, UK, and Belgium), and I cannot imagine a life without travel or discovering other cultures, people, landscapes, cities...
I love acting and reading books, drinking coffee or tea (or wine), sleeping on a beach or discovering every single inch of a town!
* Past December, I decided I needed a short break from the road and went back to NOLA after New Years. What was supposed to be a short break became a 4 months period in the unforgettable and most surprising city of New Orleans. There, I have created my own costumes for Mardi Gras, attended countless music festivals and learned how to swing dance on some of the best tri-jazz bands I've ever heard of.
I am back on the road now, to finish the adventure I started 9 months ago.*
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing immediately appeared to me as the best way ever to travel - meeting people being one of my main interests here!
Also, many of my friends told me about their amazing experiences as hosts and/or surfers, and their stories really convinced me to travel that way!
Interests
Acting holds the first place in my soul and heart, and I've been in plays since I was 12.
Also, reading is really important to me, as I feed in books to create and express feelings.
I am now a passionate swing dancer as well, and will look for dancing opportunities everywhere I go!
Travel comes as part of this whole creative process, as I believe discovering people and countries can only be a source of deep life experiences, therefore allowing art to emerge.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music and movies: pretty much everything.
Books: Camus, Rilke, Morrison (and all the others).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed up an old abandoned factory roof in Detroit.
Found myself to be real close to a bison herd in North Dakota.
Did some horseback riding in the Nebraska Sandhills.
Once, I jumped from a 15m (~49ft) bridge to the river running under my feet.
Rode horses in the Zimbabwe savannah as a kid.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook for others. Or talk about books and movies. Or cook while talking about books and movies...
