About Me

CURRENT MISSION

... Saving the world from the daily Grey and bring back colors in people's minds ! :)

ABOUT ME

Writing about myself... what a huuuuge, tricky question ! :)
Let's start with factual information, then.
I'm a young Belgian girl, born in Germany just one year before the fall of the Iron Curtain... don't know why, this is quite important for me to say.

Some friends of mine use to define my schedule as a "minister agenda"... You might find some truth in it, but I rather consider myself as someone quite curious and eager to know more about everything, who wants to experiment everything, and waste as little time as possible. You have 24hours in a day, make sure they're well employed :)

Of course, I also like to rest sometimes... and though I might prove incapable to stay free of any occupation for more than 2 hours, I am currently trying to cure myself.
The sun is very helpful in this matter, since you have greater chance to find me lying with nothing to do but sleep while sunbathing (that's quite passive, you'll admit it :)).
Jacuzzi, whirlpools, and all that stuff might also help.

Through the last years, I've been studying languages (Italian and English), and communication, then I got a complementary Master in European Studies, while working in a booking agency (concerts productions, artists representation,...). Two quite different worlds, but both are equally important.
Cultural and communicational matters have always been very important for me, and I love discovering how cultures works, and what they can bring to each other.

To finish with... "when I grow up, I would like to..." find a job that would enable me to join international affairs (like the EU), theatre and action !

PHILOSOPHY

1/ Passion should rule your life, no matter what.
2/ Take a pen. Make a list of pros and cons. If the pros win, go ahead. If not, run away.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Through Melissa Wauters and Kiwiiie who never stop talking about CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used to be a passive user, since my roomate was a CS fan and bought some couchsurfers home at times !
I've travelled some times, mostly in Italy, and met people in Brussels for a visit too.
I can't host people 'cause our apartment is too small... but we can meet in Brussels if you want!

Interests

- Music : going to concerts and festivals, singing, playing the drums,...
- Theatre : theatrical improvisation, but also and mainly directing plays, writing critics... or simply going to the theatre.
- European Union (on the cultural side mainly :) International politics are to tricky for me)
- Italia : the whole country, its culture, its cooking, its citizens, its football team, its weather, and even (let's be crazy) its political incapacity :)
- Daydreaming
- Inventing crazy stories about people you cross on the street.
- Holidays, and discoveries (oh, did I mention I was a veeeeery curious person? But I never go off limits, promise !)

Music, Movies, and Books

One book, since I'm 17 : Gone with the Wind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

LIFE is amazing.
Every second you live can transport you to a whole world of possibilities.
I like to think adventure is right behind the corner.

But apart from that, I'm quite proud of the play I directed and brought on stage with 4 other amazing people and actors.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach French, Italian, English or even Flemish.
I can also tour Brussels.

I would be very eager to learn everything about the culture and languages of others.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Belgium, Germany, Italy
