I´m interest in traveling , getting to know different cultures and learning about foreign customs. It is one of my wishes to backpack for a while with no fixed plans and seeing where life takes me. My friends describe me as a social butterfly and I love spending time with them whenever I can. I am a very open-minded, active and positive person, also quite talkative. I have a lot of hobbies like playing guitar, singing, sports (volleyball, soccer, badminton, gymnastics, yoga, swimming), meeting new people, going out to bars, drawing , cycling, ...it´s basically hard to find something I don´t like. I spent one year as an exchange student in the US where my interest in traveling was sparked. At the moment I am in Argentina volunteering, a dream. In my semester breaks I try as often as I can to go abroad via Au-pair, volunteer projects or such.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So far I only couchsurfed once and it was a wonderful experience, the host was so friendly and I would love to meet more of such inspirational and generous people. I I like the idea of offering and sharing one´s home with other people who have just the same interests and who strive for seeing the world, just like me. It is always a surprise of who you will meet and what kind of conversation you will have which makes it exciting. I love meeting local people because one can dive in directly into the culture. I know the moments one shares together will be unique with each person and I would be very happy and thankful to be able to connect with people from all over the world.

I like all kinds of songs that fall into the catergory of Indie Folk, Country, and Rock, Aplin, Mumford & sons, Lumineers, the Head and the Heart, Castro, Ben Rector, Zac Brown Band. I like listening to songs of Elvis and lot s of other musicians. I like all kinds of music actually, besides Rap and Hip-Hop.

Movies: I am a huge Harry Potter fan. But also i like 50 first dates, Jersey Girl, Meet the Fockers, i love National Geographic documentaries, Dramas, movies with leonardo de Caprio or Ben Aflec. Anything but horror, thrill or scary.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I´ve ziplined with a bunch of cool people from Guatemala and Kansas over Lake Atitlan and it was quite high. That was very cool for me and breathtaking.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some basic guitar skills and some languages (German, English, Italian, Spanish, a little bit of French).

I would like to learn the local languages with its varieties and idioms. It would be great to collect some recipes of local dishes or sharing music, books..anything.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share good mood, music, evenings with guitar and bonfire, my grandma´s brilliant recipes for cakes, travel experiences, food, a place to stay in Germany, and my language...
