ABOUT ME

Hello dear reader!

So, what to tell about me:
I'm very interested in the beautiful sides of life, trying to enjoy my spare time.. I love to travel, always on lowest budget, because still I don't earn too much money, and also because I love the experience, mostly the low-budget travelling is also the more interesting way..
By the way, I usually don't make a difference for friends between men or women, but as I got too many mails from flirty men, I prefer women to meet.
I am a person who likes to laugh, of course that depends on my company a lot :), but if we fit, we will have lots of fun!
For example I love to listen to music and of course going to good concerts (actually my expection of a concert grew with the years, so if I like a concert, its an honour for the band ;)
I love to read, I got phases when I prefer criminal literature, other times I like to read more 'ambitious' literature (for example at the moment Han Suyin: A many-splendoured thing, very beatiful!)
As I studied arts, I also love to go to exhibitions, museums and so on, also painting, but that action is one of those I prefer to do alone.
I live in Ankara at the moment, since the middle of January, at the flat of a family I'm friends with, they let me live here for the exchange that I take care of their kid sometimes.
My turkish is pretty bad at that moment, but it gets her gün daha iyi! Greetings!

PHILOSOPHY

No special philosophy, sometimes always see the good side of anything, sometimes I also need to shout out the rage ;)

Interests

as I described at the top: arts, inclusing music, books, movies and so on
also I like to do sports, in Germany I used to ride my bike very often and went to Pilates, in Ankara, where I am right now, I discovered these nice and funny fitness equipments that are everywhere, so I go to a sportsplace round the corner doing some excercises while listening to music in the sun

Music, Movies, and Books

favourite movie at the moment: Gentleman Broncos from Jared Hess, very crazy and cheesy one, but I love that kinds, also cheesy and very good: a rock opera from Andrew Lloyd Webber: Jesus Christ Superstar

Bands: Lots!! To tell a few: Tom Waits, Pearl Jam, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Nick Drake, The Beatles, The Strokes, Kaizers Orchestra, Alexis Korner, John Lee Hooker, Aretha Franklin, Kasabian, Kyuss, Kolektif Istanbul, Bright Eyes, Fink, Gisbert zu Knyphausen, Björk, Radiohead, The Beach Boys and so on... I also like to listen to Minimal Techno or Classical Musik such as Mozart or Bach, music is an issue to talk about without an end with me :)

Books: also lots, to be honest a bit too lazy to write that much now, but at least my favourite one: "I promise when the sun comes up, I promise, I'll be true (So singt Tom Waits, ich will auch Sänger werden)" (In english: Thats how T W sings, I wanna be a singer too), I got it as a present just because the name tom waits was in the title, and it turned out to be a very specific strange story about a guy, who hates ducks and shoots them, describes very detailed the dust in his flat and the half of the book is footnotes, some don't make any sense, lovely book!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most exciting things I did would be the travel to Thailand, without knowing anything about my time there except my date of flying back :) I didn't even know where to sleep at the first night, and this vacation turned out to be most exciting one ever, I ended up with lots of new experiences and met absolutely lovely people!!
