I have a wicked sense of humor, and enjoy the company of outgoing, adventurous people. I love going out and exploring, but also can kick back with the best of them. I love music! I can't live without the piano.

Interests

Love Books, art, Music (especially piano), but on the flip side Huge Syfy nerd and Console Gamer.

I love Star Trek, Doctor Who, and Warehouse 13 as well. Thats about all the TV I watch, I'd rather read a book..which is funny because I'm a media student :). I'm a bit of a contradiction in that I LOVE the arts (everything, really) and love science as well. Math....not so much.

Love being outdoors despite the fact that I seem to burn after 10 minutes in the direct sun. Go NATURE!

I love drawing, but don't practice it as much as I should. Especially charcoal. I once really hated the medium, but now I think its so wonderful.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music, from Mozart to The Beatles. There is very little I'm not open to, but I really don't like Western Country music or rap. Some of my favorite books are Fahrenheit 451by Ray Bradbury, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien, The Giver by Lois Lowry and Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. Movies: Huge fan of Hayao Miyazaki and ALWAY love animated films. I have a healthy respect for the classics though, Bergman and Kubrick are high up on that list. Except Clockwork Orange....that is just a messed up movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Uprooted my life and went to Ethiopia for work, ALONE. Hardest thing I've even done in my life, and most certainly the loneliest.

Teach, Learn, Share

Love animators like me, people how love music, art and reading. Anyone with a unique perspective on life is a joy to spend time with. I especially love teaching people a bit of the piano. I'm not an expert by any means, I just love it! Children are my favorite to teach because they grasp it so quickly!
