ABOUT ME
I am originally from Denver,Colorado. I headed to Tacoma, Washington to the University of Puget Sound in 2002 (completed in 2006). I have a travel bug. I spent summer of '03 in Edinburgh, Scotland working at a coffee shop on the Royal Mile; summer of '04 in Costa Rica working with sea turtles; 6 months of '06 in Buenos Aires taking classes and putzing. I have been living in Seattle and working a software job for the last two years, but having had a lovely learning experience in my cubicle, have decided to take a teaching position in Juticalpa, Honduras (starts in August).
PHILOSOPHY
Wow. Hard question. Put me up on your couch and I'll tell you all about it. Most of it has to do with keeping myself and those around me feeling as fulfilled as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I fully plan to share a couch as soon as I have one. I am currently putzing through the UK and Europe, but hope to have an open, Honduran couch in August (will find out about my living situation when I arrive).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have never been couchSurfing via this website; however, spent 3 months sharing a futon on the livingroom floor of a friend's aunt and uncle (sharing futon with friend from denver) while working in Edinburgh. Absolutely loved it!
Interests
I love Spanish, Latin America, teaching (I think...find out in August), reading (loving "The Brief and Wonderous Life of Oscar Wao" by Junot Diaz...recommend picking it up), snowboarding, adult beverages, and much much more.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love them all! Last three I saw/read were: In Bruges (hilarious despite my first impressions), Beirut (currently obsessed with the band), and Joshua Ferris' "Then we came to the end" (also an amazing book).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Saw a sea turtle in Costa Rica (leatherback) that was 7 feet long. One of the most life-changing experiences I've ever had (besides eating Jaffa Cakes).
Teach, Learn, Share
I know how to flip (did gymnastics for 12 years) and would be happy to try to teach you! Can someone teach me how to juggle?
