ABOUT ME
We work hard to build a "homemade life". We love to cook, take walks in our neighborhood, host friends for meals and visits, garden, and build things. We've both done a fair bit of traveling and living abroad, though right now we spend most of our time appreciating life closer to home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We have plenty of space to host people and hope to also have the chance to stay with others from time to time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first a only couch-surfing experience (so far!) was in Quebec--had a great time and really appreciated having a local connection to help me get to know the city.
Interests
You can usually find us cooking and sharing meals with friends, gardening, biking, enjoying morning coffee or an evening drink on the deck, reading books, playing games, and working on house renovation projects.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
All of the experiences that come to mind are times when I've been surrounded by a fantastic community of people--parties at the Maine farm I used to live at with people of all ages sharing food, stories, music, and dancing and parties in my current community when more friends than I realized I had filled our house with laughter and conversation. There are also sunrises viewed from mountain tops, awe-inspiring temples, breath-taking landscapes, and heart-stopping South Asian bus rides, but it's the shared community that makes my life feel rich.
