ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm Anne. I'm currently studying abroad for an undetermined extended period of time. I study fashion design through FIT in New York. I am very independent person, determined to follow my dreams. I am open-minded and love learning from people I meet in my travels. I also love listening to personal stories about travel, or life in general.

Interests

I love hiking and rock climbing. I love swimming in the ocean and in lakes, natural bodies of water. I love doing yoga. Watching squirrels, chipmunks, and birds in my yard.
I am inspired by art so I love visiting art museums. Everywhere I go, I spend hours in museums. I sew clothes and sometimes bags. I also love to paint and draw. I do a lot of fashion art, since that is my major, but I love drawing people, especially faces. Painting however, I love doing outside, so my subjects are mostly wildlife or landscapes. Cooking is also one of my favorite activities. I make amazing Chocolate cake! I love typical food from countries around the world and learning how to make it.
Also at any time of day, I could curl up with a book and cup of tea.
I love being caught outside in a summer rainstorm. Sometimes I go running right when I see it's about to pour. It's one of my favorite experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

Moveis: Amelie, Under the Tuscan Sun, Casablanca, La Dolce Vita, Lord of the Rings, Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited away, Indiana Jones(1&3),Star Wars, Jurassic Park(1), Disney, Ondine, Malice in Wonderland. I love almost all movies that are happy and cute. I also love artistic movies where the smallest details have great importance.

Books: The Stephanie Plum series, Hamlet, Eat Pray Love, Crime and Punishment, The Stranger, Heart of Darkenss, Hunger Games Trillogy

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ran along the Arno River in the pouring rain.
Cartwheeled in the grass at the Cliffs of Moher.
Stumbled upon The Avengers premier while in Rome.

I like learning about almost anything. Teach me how to cook your favorite dish!

I can teach you how to make my favorite foods. I can teach how to draw or sew. I can't think of other things right now.
