HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My friend Lucy & I will be traveling through Europe this Summer. We hope to do many things & meet many people as well! We're hoping that couch surfing could be a perfect way to do this! I've traveled around the world & have always stayed in a hotel, but it is difficult to make friends that way so I'm excited to try a whole new kind of traveling experience!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Once in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica, I was really unhappy with the current state of my trip... I took a walk down the beach and stummbled upon a small bay where I watched one of the most incredible sunsets I have ever seen. It was as if the clouds in the sky, the reflections in the water, the radiance of the mountains on the horizon, all lit up and danced red, orange, yellow, and tan for about 15 minutes. Once the sun had set... I started to walk home through a forest trail... and happened upon a swarm of 1,000's of fireflys, dancing all around in the darkness. From that point on, everything seemed different, and the next morning I extended my stay two extra weeks when I was originally supposed to depart the next day. I'll never forget that town -- it is something special.
