Over the years I have been using this account together with longterm travelbuddies, room mates and friends. Now "the Gang" is my boyfriend Martin who I live with.

Im a social worker and work in political education and Martin is a high school teacher for German, Philosophy and Religion and an author.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Started of surfing on a trip to Israel Palestine and Jordan and had the most amazing time with many incredibly nice hosts. So after coming back I started hosting too.
Then I traveled with my friend Luisa for about half a year and it would not have been the same without couchsurfing!

Interests

We are part of a project that bought a farm outside of berlin to remodel it (insta: hofprojekt) So we flee the big city every other weekend to enjoy the depths of rural Germany. We do a lot of construction work during the day, have good food and enjoy beers at the fire in good company at night. If you are interested, you are welcome to join.

In general we enjoy being in nature, and spending time there any chance we get. We have a small car, that we both can sleep in and have been driving it around europe for the last couple of summers. We also take it to the lakes and forests around Berlin on weekends.

We love the good life in Berlin summer- just grabing a beer from the späti and wondering the streets: a Berlin activity that we highly recomend and like to share with surfers.

We also love filthy old school pubs. We are not into clubbing or electronic music too much, but Martin Djs from time to time and we have a small DJ set up in the living room, so if you like to nerd out about vinyls etc. this is the place.

Martin is vegan, but I eat everything. We love sharing meals and cooking with surfers.

I'm a great lover of fun facts and enjoy talking about social, political and historical topics. Martin is more up for conversations about philosophy and literature.
