About Me

Friendly and adventurous :) I like to make people laugh.

And to all the people I've met through CS: a big THANK YOU! You have inspired me and changed my life in ways that words can't describe.

Mission: To leave a part of me in every place I go, but also to learn something from every person I know. To smile and make others smile as well.

NO ME PODRÉ GANAR LA VIDA NUNCA CANTANDO... HAHA! PERO DISFRUTAR... IMPROVISAR... Y APORTAR LO QUE PUEDO... SIEMPRE! Y REÍR... LO MÁS GRANDE!

PHILOSOPHY

"Don't wait to go until everything is certain, just choose a place in the map where you think you'll be happy and go. Don't be afraid of failure, everyone creates their own destiny."

Be free. Don't care about what other people may think. Be happy.

The best practice? To be grateful, every day, no matter what.

Love is the force that can move everything, but so can faith.

It's okay to be afraid, but don't let it keep you from doing what you want.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

No matter how you travel, you have an opportunity to reach out and be a "game-changer" to connect with your fellow human beings and enable others to do the same. It's all about having the courage to challenge yourself and be the change you wish to see.

Thanks to CS I've been hosting and surfing for 10 years now and I got to know a lot of amazing people who were really nice to me and I will never forget them. Now it's my time to give back all the things I got/learned from them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Choosing a foreign country just because it was "the happiest country in the world", leaving everything behind and going without knowing anyone there, without money, without a job or a place to live. I only had 1 week to prepare everything. It was crazy and I made a life there.

Traveling and hitchhiking for 3 months in Europe and 6 months in South America. Oh and while being there I learned how to drive a trailer truck on the Deadly Routes of The Andes! We were freezing those nights, but those were the most amazing sunsets I've ever seen.

In a very difficult time in my life, I met probably the most entertaining friend ever. And he offered me the opportunity of a lifetime: he asked me to go with him on a 1 week trip and promised me that I would forget about everything else, that I would be happy all week and that I would just have fun every day. It was crazy because I had to work all week. But I took a leap of faith, called my boss to quit my job, packed everything super quickly and went with him. The craziest thing? He was right, it was one of the happiest weeks of my life.

Doing the Way of St. James / Camino de Santiago. The fact is that I wasn't used to walking in the mountains, I hadn't trained before starting it, I was out of shape and I didn't have the appropriate shoes or equipment to do it. For a moment, I really thought I wasn't gonna make it. But I learnt that ultimate strength really comes from your mind, when your body just can't keep going anymore. Physically speaking, that was the most difficult challenge in my life.

Giving free hugs to total strangers in the most crowded streets of Madrid, Spain.

My personal favorite: I like to help people to take a leap of faith... about love, life and traveling.

Followed my heart! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Spanish or English, I can also share tips to hitchhike around the world and travel on the lowest budget. I would like to learn about world music, customs, different languages and international food!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My sincere friendship, good moments, laughs, my interests and passions! Also, if I can get the proper ingredients, I can cook for my hosts.

***ANOTHER NOTE: I'm allergic to most kinds of insects. I try to always have antihistamines with me so it's under control.***
