ABOUT ME
Hello,
I was living in Friesland, in the Netherlands for the past three years and moved to Leipzig beginning this year. I am still homesick for the Netherlands and it's wonderful people, but it was time for a change, so here I am, living, loving, breathing, laughing. I find it hard to say something about me, but there are some things that I treasure and value in life and I try to live according to these.
I think that love is the most important thing on earth. I think having empathy for one another and helping each other is the reason we're here for. Laughing goes a long way. Taking deep breaths as well. Nature heals and teaches everything there is to know. Practicing forgiveness and gratefulness. Learning to let things go, one day at a time. Dogs. Animals in general.
I am a social worker, working in the nature, going climbing with my clients. Also, I am writing my bachelor thesis right now. Which stresses me out just a tiny little bit. Just a teeny tiny little bit.

Interests
I am interested in manymanymany things, but alright let's start:
i'm interested in watching other people beeing happy, in having allnightlongconversations with wine, in dancing with beautifulwonderfull people by my side, in giving love and getting love back, in enthusiasm, in hiking with people and get to know them better with every kilometer we leave behind, in discovering the world(but first I have to start with my town - seriously), in laughing so hard that I can't breathe, in giving long hugs, in moments filled with pure life, in discovering people that end up as friends, in walking through the city with my headphones on and feeling fierce, in loving and getting love back, in the nature, in seashepherd, in veganism, in animals, in not-beeing-able-to-drink-wine-in-a-sophisticated-way, in music that blows my mind from the first second on, in reading a big book in one day and then cry when it's over, in listening to someone talking in whoms voice I fell in love with, in animal rights, in human rights, in protecting the nature and the people I love
Music, Movies, and Books
music:
This question will lead nowhere. But let's give it a try. Anything that's electronical and moves my hips, Folk,HipHop,SingerSongwriter -basically everything that I listen to and immediatly fall in love with.
books:
There are too many great books out there that I adore, so I won't even get this started
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
ohmy it's incredibly hard to pick one. But if I had to, I'd say it was that moment when I stood at the ocean of Finisterra, just ended the Camino de Santiago after 800 painfull kilometers. It was really stormy and rainy that day and we were afraid that we couldn't get a little fire started to burn some of our stuff (that's a tradition) - well eventually we managed to make it work and so I stood there, wind blowing like crazy, just threw my knee bandage and some letters in the fire, starring at the ocean, realising that all of this has now come to an end-and now here's the thing and i'm not kidding about this, it actually happened: A dolphin jumped out of the water!! I kinda started crying immediatly (dolphins are just great animals and I get kinda emotional when I see one haha)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can bake you the most delicious vegan cake ever.
I love having long, long talks about the world, about humans, about nature and just being present with one another.
