ABOUT ME

We are a family of four: two adults and two teenage children. We also have two cats. We live in a mud brick house and spend a lot of time renovating it and working in the garden. Anne has her pilates studio attached to the house and works from home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have traveled with couch surfing through France and were overwhelmed by the generosity of the CS hosts. Many years ago we also traveled with a similar organisation called Servas and had some really good experiences as well.

Interests

We all enjoy reading. We belong to a ski club but haven't been able to go skiiing for a few years. Anne enjoys cooking and everyone enjoys eating. Dale is interested in the environment, literature and history.
Both children enjoy film making and have done a number of short film making courses.

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment Crista (age 16) is endlessly reading fantasy novels and Kieran (age 19) is immersed in computer games and live action role playing. Anne and Dale enjoy going to art exhibitions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stayed in Dubrovnik before the war, such a beautiful city. Saw the Grand Canyon covered in snow like frosting on a cake. The Dolomites in summer, breathtaking scenery.
