我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My only couchsurfing experience was a positive one. A friend was visiting me in Aix (France), and elected to couchsurf with a woman who lived in Marseille. Due to the limits of my abroad program, she could not stay with me. Her host was extremely kind and I came to value this organization through that experience.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've taught adults who've never seen a computer to use the internet. I've been teargassed twice. I've cooked a lot of meals, drank a lot of coffee, and learned hip-hop dancing from a 10 year old.

I know a lot about immigration in the United States, it's just something I picked up through my various jobs and life experiences. I really love immigrant narratives, mixed identities, and speaking Spanglish (much to the horror of my Colombian friends).
I've taught English for a few years, but I'm more interested in teaching creative writing in English. You can check out my writing here:
