About Me
ABOUT ME
Hey everyone! I'm Annefleur from Rotterdam, the Netherlands. I have a huge passion for traveling and hope to manage to do that for years. My last travel was in South East Asia where I learned to be a strong, independent women. I admire this part of the world and hope to visit it many times more. In January 2016 I decided to move to Australia, so now I live in Melbourne.
I love sports, especially baseball/softball and watching the olympics! I'm an adventurer, doing a lot of outdoor activities and searching new rushes of adrenaline.
I am also a bit naive. You can come up with the greatest or weirdest stories and I will still believe it, haha. I love stories, so please share and don't be shy and be creative!
Last but not least I have an understanding of people. I can communicate with any person and let them feel comfortable and welcoming in my presence.
One things for sure, you will always LAUGH with me! :D
PHILOSOPHY
If you want something, let nobody tell you otherwise and DO IT!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In mostly larger cities, I'm hoping to find some nice and friendly company along my travels. I also love hanging out with new people and get to know as many.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In Bangkok, Thailand I've stayed with the adorable Nong. This was my first experience with couchsurfing and since then I absolutely love it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the north of Vietnam (Sa Pa) a lovely local Black Hmong lady told me her story about craftsmanship which runs in her family to earn a living. Her brother makes beautiful rings from old metals (cans, coins etc.). When I heard she needed as many metals as possible to raise her kids and upcoming baby's (she's pregnant with twins) I had to do something. I did a small fundraiser with al the tourists around and collected all the coins of other currency's I could find and gave it to her for her brother to make lots of new rings. She immediately started crying and hugging me. As exchange she gave me one of her brothers rings which I'm still wearing till this day forward .
