Recently graduated from Reed and currently still interested in reading, writing, biking, cooking and traveling.

I'm trying to let as many people and places get under my skin and stretch myself to a breaking point.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to listen to Jesus and follow Him closely.
Whenever I can, I extend hospitality. I've come to expect kindness, not malice, from people. That's the only way to maintain sanity and hope in this crazy world.
God loves you just as you are. All you have to do is be yourself. A good day is a day you are true to yourself.
Hugs are good for the soul.

Until I have a stable place to call my home, I cannot host anyone, but I'd love to meet for a drink.

So far, CS has connected me with amazing, generous people who are just as excited about life as I am.

Intereses

Christianity, other religions, and communities of people who seek justice and loving kindness.
My idea of a good time ranges from a relaxed dinner party to a late night out dancing.
When I travel, I like to see the sites I've only heard of, or seen pictures of, or studied in school.
Being in nature renews my spirit. So does being with kind and open people.

As far as movies and music go, I trust the recommendations of friends. I'm a bookworm at heart. Some classic favorites are: East of Eden, Catcher in the Rye, Le Petit Prince, Jane Eyre, Middlemarch, Hamlet, the poetry of WB Yeats, Paradise Lost, Franny and Zooey

A week of prayer and Bible study at Taizé (France). There I met many soulmates and learned that God is with me everywhere I go.
That's where my mission comes from, too, by the way.
