About Me
I live in a green and friendly neighborhood in Crown Heights, in Brooklyn. I work as a farm educator on an urban farm in a public park in Manhattan, and spend the rest of my time exploring the city, eating wonderful meals, going to see music, and growing my own food.
I came back to New York last year after 2 years working for an agricultural foundation in Indonesia and another year traveling around with little aim and a slow pace. At the moment, I am overjoyed to be living in New York with my friends, my family and my partner. Living in this city is like voyaging to parallel universes every day, and I am always happy to show my favorite places off to visitors.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since I was 16, I've been lucky in my travels to be taken in as a guest after a chance meeting, or pointed towards friends of friends of friends' places where I can make a little bed on the floor. So I haven't used this website much, but I am all about it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am an ambitious cook and very enthusiastic about preparing meals for others. I enjoy using regional and seasonal ingredients found in fresh markets and learning new recipes from the area. I'll cook dinner.
