COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am still new in couchsurfing, but earlier I have been travelling in Thailand with the organisation Servas, which is a similar, more controlled, hosting-system. Servas gave me priceless experiences. Having a local host gives tremendous opportunities for interacting with locals and meeting people certainly is the main purpose for me when I'm travelling.

Interests

Music, art, aesthetics, philosophy, litterature, radio, movies and many small things, that change every week. Right now I'm very interested in radio programs from the 1950's.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Jimi Hendrix, Tom Waits, Under Byen, Mount Eerie, Devendra Banhart, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Bach, Brahms, Telemann, Schütz, Yoyooyoy, Pink Floyd, DAAU, Beirut -the list is endless.

Movies: Taxi Driver, Charles Tante(silly old danish movie, that have followed me since childhood), Don't look now and many others.

Books: Lately I have been reading a lot of Adorno's aesthetics. Right now I'm reading the book Job by Roth, and so far I'm enjoying it a lot. Other than that I have appreciated books by Herman Hesse, Kafka, Claus Beck Nielsen, Yann Martel and others.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach piano and simple guitar. I can share danish songs, (some)beer knowledge, a couple of dishes and show you how to make a dog out of paper.
