ABOUT ME
In general I'm a quite down to earth girl, I can talk a lot but I also like to just observe, or listen. Some things I are nighttime picknicks at the beach, long talks in a pub.. literature (magical realism in particular) and libraries. I'm a bit of a romantic in that sense.
Some random facts:
- I have a twinbrother who is thirteen minutes older than me and does not look like me at all.
- My thoughts can sometimes be rather chaotic, which sometimes becomes evident when I speak.
- I am intrigued by the English court of the 16th century since I saw the series 'The Tudors'.
- Sarcasm. Nuff said.
- Greenish blue is my favorite colour. As is coral. This can change from time to time, like most things, really.
PHILOSOPHY
"(...)just how much of the past we spent dwelling on what has to come; how much of it, that is, we spent somewhere other than where we were."
Well, this quote makes me try not to worry too much about the future (things I have to do, or whether I will get a proper job whatsoever) when it is not appropriate to do so - for example, when traveling.
I want to enjoy every place I am to the fullest, take in the atmosphere, enjoy the company or the lack of company, whatever the situation is. It's a challenge for me, because it's not really a skill I naturally possess.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
by being eager to learn, by sharing stories and space, and by enjoying.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Summer 2012 was my first couchsurfing experience it's been great! During this sommer me and my twinbrother have been hosted in Vienna, Istanbul, Thessaloniki and Turin and I've had only positive experiences.
I also hope I get to meet some of you by hosting you in my humble student room!
Interests
Actually... the better question is "what do I not somehow find interesting?" because that would be a smaller list. But here are some things I really love:
Photography, literature, history, languages, theatre, philosophy, snowboarding, writing, drawing, other kinds of art. Good food (and a glass of wine), politics and (live) music...
