I don't seem to be able to stay in one place for a long time. Ever since I was old enough, I have been moving around, discovering so many beautiful places on this planet. And even more importantly - meeting people, challenging my assumptions. What I enjoy most about travelling to some place, near or far, is that you will meet people that think exactly like you, and you'll realise that we're all more connected and alike than you believed. And you'll meet people that think very differently than you, but all of sudden you'll understand how right they are and how ignorant you've been and it will make you a better person.

In short: I'm interested in humans, in languages, cultures, history. I study politics, but looking at it from a humanistic perspective. I love animals, cheesy jokes and food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because nothing makes you happy like connecting with another person when you least expect it.
And because nothing shaped my personality like the people I met, at the other end of the world and in the bookstore around the corner.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived one year on a farm in rural Ireland. Learned to drive perfectly in Hanoi traffic.
