About Me
Travelled the world for 3 years, February 27th 2017 - March 14th 2020
ABOUT ME
I am 41 years old and, like so many others, I love to travel. Having lived in Italy and England as a child (although I don't remember much of Italy), my wanderlust was sparked at a very early age. Now I've lived in Paris and Hohhot (Inner Mongolia) as well as travelled 47 countries in a 3 year round the world adventure, and I'm already done with this Covid-thing... I want to travel more.
I would love to make more friends around the world.
PHILOSOPHY
Be kind, do good, challenge yourself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am living in a flat in Oslo, but right now I don't really have a bed to offer. I can however, offer good company and tidbits about my country and culture as soon as this corona situation quiets down a bit :-)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Stayed with Ryan Jameson and his wife, Lee, in Wellington, New Zealand for a couple of days in 2010 - and then for two days again in 2014 - awesome hosts! I would highly recommend them.
Also I met up with Amy Flessert (from USA) while visiting Seoul, South-Korea, we hung out for a day and she showed me some of the local customs, foods and places. Great fun!
We've had several guests on our couch too from Turkey, Italy and Germany mostly. Unable to host right at this moment, but hoping to change that in the near future!
And lastly, while I was in Switzerland in 2012 I met up with Yuni in Geneva - she showed me around and we had the biggest ice cream I've ever eaten.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, the Fountain, Lethal Weapon, Die Hard and the new Sherlock Holmes-films are quite enjoyable. I like almost everything...
Music: Sting, The Police, Kent, Tove Lo, Sia, U2, Pearl Jam, Gåte, Hans Zimmer, Howard Shore, Ben Howard, Will.I.Am and other generic pop, Loreena McKennitt ++
Books: Harry Potter, Labyrinth, anything Lee Child and I must admit I find Dan Browns brooks great entertainment.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Jumped the Nevis bungy in 2010, never been so scared... Also, I worked with 30 other volunteers in Zimbabwe on a Lion Conservation project for 4 weeks. Four of the best weeks I've ever had.
Other than that, meeting new people is always awesome.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can speak English (British and American) fluently, so if anyone would like to better their English I can help. I am also passionate about design and film, so if you like long (and utterly useless) talks about those subjects, I'm your girl. I can speak conversational French, but am always looking to improve it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversations and shitty humour ;-)
