I'm a 29-year-old South African data engineer working in the Netherlands. I am trying to catch the travel bug and get comfortable with traveling since I am in Europe now and everything is Soooo accessable! So happy 🙏

Originally from South Africa, I plan to live in the Europe for the foreseeable future and visit South Africa for 2 weeks each year and get as much traveling done as possible. I'm single and enjoy my alone time, pursuing various hobbies, staying cozy, taking online courses, and keeping active with runs and outdoor activities. I love meeting new people, hearing their stories, opinions and thoughts and also sharing mine. I have my energetic days where I have bursts of energy and go a 'kleine beetje gek' (a little bit crazy), but I also have a calm and collected side.
I play several musical instruments, enjoy board games and have many hobbies. I make friends easily, sometimes talk too much but always love learning new facts and stories from others.

I am using couchsurfing to be able to meet new people and explore the Europe while also trying to find my feet and make Europe feel like home. It would be great if we could even co-work or explore together since I am doing solo traveling.

I went camping on a elephant walking trail (by accident) in Botswana. Sat about 1m from a elephant family while they were doing their daily walk to the waterhole. Scary but amazing and beautiful! So magestic!
