Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
A little bit of this and a little bit of that that. A whole lot of learning.
ABOUT ME
I am living in Madrid, Spain. After I studied Speech Language Pathology I worked for two years with children and young adults with autism. Currently I teach English in Madrid, Spain!
I enjoy getting out and meeting/observing people; I love running, traveling, reading and trying new things (especially typical and local food items). In early 2015 I took up swing dancing and am having a blast learning and laughing at myself trying to let myself be "led"! It's trickier than you think ;)
PHILOSOPHY
Go with the flow
His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I try to go to meetings and gatherings the group puts together but lately I've been so busy (too busy) working.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am relatively "new" to the community in the sense that I have CSed twice, almost three times... I think it's a great way to meet people and get to know their cities and I'd love to add more notches to my CS experience "belt".

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - a variety. I am not a big country fan but I like some songs.. alternative, folk, rock, punk rock, pop, R&B.. really a variety
Movies - Airplane pops into my head, it's a classic, Jurassic Park, and many many others.
Books - The Book Thief, The Kite Runner, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Blink... to name a few.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visiting the inverted tower in Sintra, Portugal was probably hands down one of the coolest things I have seen in my life.
In January 2012 I ran my first half marathon in the Canary Islands. Since then I have ran various other races from 5-21km :)
I'm terrified of heights but want to push myself to new limits, cliff jumping or sky diving are on my list of things to do, getting over mental blocks can be the biggest high.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to learn how to surf, speak Spanish and Finnish fluently, do a handstand.
I love to share memories and experiences -- finding new perspectives and seeing new points of view. Meeting people and learning from each other is an incredible gift communication gives us, if only we're willing to listen.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd hope to share stories and ideas and maybe some homemade American brownies ;) oh and some fun card games!
