Hi there!

I am a 29 year old woman traveling for one year together with my girlfriend. I had the opportunity to get a year off my job to explore the world. I have been to Uganda, Tanzania, Zanzibar, South Africa, India, Thailand, Cambodja, Laos, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Australia. We will be heading to Australia the 7th of september and will be traveling there for 2 months.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We signed up for coach surfing because we are traveling in Australia and our budget is limited.
But our goal is to meet interesting people and share experiences with them. I hope couch surfing will help us to achieve those goals :)

Interests

I love my job! I work in a psychiatric crisisintervention unit in a general hospital and I love the intense working with people.

I am also a hair and make-up artist, specialised in vintage hair do's. I love expressing myself with colour and transfoming people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I did this one year travel to follow my heart and chase my dream. To feel and experience other cultures, to push myself and learn about myself. Become closer to who I really am. I have started this journey with the question: what is my role in life? The more I travel, the more I know I am not getting an answer (not right now). But I learned that I am happy with all the choices I have made in my life and that I am very happy with my life :)

People I met during my journey taught me so much and I am very grateful. If we end up on your couch then its not coincidence and I believe we will learn from eachother :)
