ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Annelies and I live in Oudenaarde which is a beautiful small city situated in the heart of the Flemish Ardennes and about 30 kilometers away from Ghent. My life is about travelling and expect couchsurfing to help me in meeting more people who are caught by the same "travelling spirit".

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to attend local activities, hang out, surf couches abroad and hopefully also host people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I attend 1 really nice activity in the city of Ghent which surely convinced me to attend some more. The activity had a nice mix of people and I was a bit nervous but knew from the first 5 minutes this was the kind of experience I like. So more will follow.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One of the trips I will surely never forget is my trip to India ... When going hiking in Mt Abu I twisted my food ... got an Indian healing from my guide ... had to go to the hospital … and spent the next 3 weeks travelling with painkillers that did not really help … my love for India (people, food, culture, …) was way too big to just give up and go home. Hope to return there one day and explore more!
