About Me

Im a very friendly, bubbly and easy going person. I enjoy meeting new people from all around the world. Im an Australian currently living in London doing marketing

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and about their cultures, I feel like you really see a place when you stay with locals

Interests

I use to play a lot of sport but because of having a few serious injuries Ive had to put that on pause for a long time. So I got into gardening which fitted with my love for cooking. I love trying new recipes and its even more exciting when Ive used my own veges and herbs. I love getting outdoors so I go for walks and hikes when I can, although they cant be too strenuous with my terrible knees. I use to dance ballet, tap and jazz and as Ive got older Ive got more into salsa.

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment I like reading true crime novels but in general I read almost anything that people recommend to me. I also have a broad range of music styles, i really just dont like heavy metal. For movies I like dramas, action and rom coms and the occasional kid movie :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Iguazu falls in brazil and argentina is absolutely stunning. I also get a little nervous around heights so going to Mexico and jumping into cenotes was a pretty incredible experience for me. I went to one very secluded one that was more like an under ground cave in a Mayan rain forrest. When we were let down into it we could hardly see a thing, just swimming in the dark and when they let down a light the cave lit up. The water was crystal clear and the cave was huge. It was stunning. We were told after that sacrifices use to take place there, glad they didnt tell us that first 😅

Teach, Learn, Share

Im learning spanish so I would love to have someone to practice with. I can teach how to cook and because I know a bit about wine I can teach a bit about food matching. I hope to share life stories with whoever I stay with, I really enjoy hearing about other people's life experiences .

What I Can Share with Hosts

Im an extremely friendly person and theres not a lot of people I dont get along with. But other than a good conversation I could definitely cook dinner and share some wine.
