About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Chasing my wanderlust

ABOUT ME

I am a really curious person, that's why I love to travel. I enjoy learning about other cultures and meeting new people. I have a been an exchange student, and this experience inspired me to travel more, since there is so much to discover out there. I like going out with my friends and get a drink, or go to a festival. One word that would me describe me is daydreamer. I am a social person and enjoy learning new languages.

PHILOSOPHY

Adventure is out there - UP

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The best way to discover a place is by getting to know the locals, that way you really get to know a culture. I guess that couchsurfers all share a passion for travelling and meeting new people. That is why I want to a member.

Interests

I love music, and play the piano and a bit of guitar. Of course I also love going out with friends, goign to a party or getting a drink. I also like adventurous things, like zip-lines, death-rides,high rope courses and so on. And I just enjoy learning new things, especially languages.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I am an indie fan but I listen to everything. I am also more Rolling Stones than The Beatles

Movies: all movies from the Coen brothers, especially Burn after reading

Boks: Into the wild, the perks of being a wallflower, her name was Sarah,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's hard to choose one thing, but I have one experience that jumps out: I did a bit of volunteering in Italy, which meant helping children with their homework. The interesting part was that I did not know any Italian yet and they couldn't speak English. Either way they found a way to explain the excersises to me and I found a way to help them with their homework.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd be happy to share my culture with you, if you want to know more about it.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, France, Germany, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom
