ABOUT ME

I(Lieven) am an energetic person who likes to travel abroad, and practice my languages. I love reading, listening to music, playing computer games, going out with friends and playing badminton.

I(Annelies) am an enthusiastic, creative person with a lot of interests. I love doing sports (mostly running), reading, exploring nature and hanging out with friends.

PHILOSOPHY

I(Lieven) think that life is a gift and you should enjoy it every day. My motto is: "Festina Lente" (Hurry slowly).

I(Annelies) really want to live life. I want to experience new things every day! I think that every person has an interesting part and is worth to get to know better.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As we love couchsurfing, we spread the word!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have had an exchange of choirs with Zeuthen (Germany). We have stayed at a friendly place, with caring people.I(Lieven) have been to the World Youth Days in Cologne (Germany) in 2005. I had a great time there with friendly hosts.After the World Youth Days in Sydney (2008) we travelled a few weeks with an other friend and we did Couchsurfing all the time. Australia is a great country to do Couchsurfing! Everyone is friendly, makes time and makes you feel at home! In China it harder to do Couchsurfing because lots of people just don't have any space. I (Annelies) was lucky to have some experiences there. The people in China are very hospitable, they will do everything possible to make you feel comfortable! In 2009 I (Annelies) also had a Couchsurfing experience in the Frenchspeaking part of Belgium. It's great to meet people from not so far away! It was really one of my best Couchsurfing experiences!!! Of course we aren't ready experiencing Couchsurfing! We are open for people from all over the world!!!

兴趣

I(Lieven) like enjoying music, reading books, practicing languages, exploring foreign cultures and making friends.

I(Annelies) like to talk with people about everything in every language. I also like reading, exploring nature, doing sports.

The things we can learn (or practise with) everybody are languages. We love to speak other languages and learn and teach it.
The other things we like to learn and talk about are experiences in the world. It's always interesting to exchange experiences!
