HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It all started more than 5 years ago when I was just a poor student from Latvia who moved to Denmark for studies. My very first couch to surf was in Hanover when I also went for my very first cross-countries hitch-hiking trip from DK to LV. I still remember how amazed I was about this whole concept of staying with a person about whom I knew only as much as I had read on the persons profile on Internet.

I think at this point of life I am a little bit of a CS addict and I keep on returning to it because the experiences that I get from it are never the same but mostly I have had only positive ones :)

And now that I am happily moved back home I am quite eager to also host some couchsurfers as finally I can be a real local :D

Interests

From time to time I enjoy to pick up a pencil and a blank sheet of paper and let my imagination fly.

Or sometimes I pick up my guitar and try to play something that would sound at least decent since I`m still a total beginner. But I`m loving it :)

In general I like to explore new things, hang out with friends or get involved in different kinds of projects, meet new people and just live life with no regrets.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked camino de Santiago, thought about life a lot and as cliche as it may sound I quit my job after to travel with no set goal where I want to be, ended up in Florida which further lead me here to London.
