I'm Annelot, I am a (currently) 20 year old that studies Cultural Anthropology in Utrecht, the Netherlands and is on exchange in Finland at the moment. I love travelling, meeting new people, having new experiences and seeing beautiful places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be back in the States this summer where I'll work on a summercamp but afterwards I want to travel to several places. The original plan was to visit some friends but since my friend is moving away I can't stay with her anymore so someone suggested couchsurfing to me!

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely love all three, mostly chick flick books and movies but also thriller books or detective kind of books and series. Regarding music I love hip-hop music and listen to the hitlists.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't really choose but I think standing on the edge of the Victoria Falls in Zambia with just a rope between me and falling down.

Teach, Learn, Share

In the States I love to share some more information about my own country or just something about Europe in general since I learned some people don't really know that much about it.
With regards to the languages, I can fluently speak Dutch and English, I can understand most of German, a little bit of French and I will really start to learn Spanish in the autumn semester but I'm trying to pick some up already!
