ABOUT ME

I aim to become an actress in Holland (and maybe elsewhere) and I attend acting school in Maastricht, that's at the other end of Holland. It's my second year now and I have to live outside of Amsterdam and I miss it a lot. I love Amsterdam and Barcelona and London and San Francisco and New York and France. I love people that make me feel free to be me, I love summer, winter, bicycling in Amsterdam, swimming, playing, singing, screaming (of laughter), vegetables, cafes, art, films, art, movies, art, moviefilms.

From may till august 2008 I traveled the USA together with my best friend Liú Mottes. I had saved up a lot of money to travel all around, using Amtrak. The experience was amazing in 1000 ways and one of the greatest ones in my life. We met so many great and open minded people, we made friends, got drunk, had conversations and lived together. I will never forget.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to live in Amsterdam (born and raised!) but now I'm doing acting school in Maastricht, Limburg. That's like at the other end of the country (or 2 1/2 hours by train... that's how small our country is). I have a very small apartement, which I have to share with 5 people. So for now it's definetly not possible to host anybody, but I'm sure that someday I will.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Via a friend we found out about this site and we decided to travel around America, and meeting people through this site. We saw 18 cities and visited almost just as much couchsurfers and I had the time of my life! I'm 100% sure that if we hadn't joined the community we would't have the same view of the USA and the people in it. This truely is the perfect way to visit a new country and to explore and see how it really is to live and work there. Totally amazing.
