ABOUT ME

Hey! My name is Annemarie, I'm 34 years old and born and raised in Amsterdam, where I work as a sportsjournalist for a Dutch newspaper and a couple of magazines. I love the variety of my job and the places where it leads me to. In 2013 I was in Sweden for the Women's European championship and two years after I covered the Women's world cup in Canada.

Besides my job as a freelance sportsjournalist, I'm a parttime footballtrainer for girls the age of 14/15 and I have a side job in a local bookshop. So yes, I'm always busy, but there are just too many things I like to do! Besides, I like the variety in my life and the many opportunities I get to meet so many different people.

Even though I'm a 'city-girl' I love being outdoors and once in a while I 'escape' to the countryside. I'm always up for a laugh and love some adventure. Life shouldn't be boring!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first Couchsurf experience when I was in Sweden, three years ago. What an amazing thing to do! Since then, I've had people visiting my home in Amsterdam and I've been Couchsurfing in Canada and Johannesburg, South-Africa. Just because it's the best way to meet great people :)
