Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I feel so blessed, because all of my couchsurfing experiences have been nothing but AMAZING!
I love how life-changing and magical travelling can be, if only you keep your mind and heart open. My past travels have been both - immensely life-changing, and mind-blowingly magical.
I've done hitch-hiking trips in Europe, and have couchsurfed in Germany, Netherlands and France, and had nothing but the best experiences. All the hosts I stayed with were purely awesome people! I am really looking forward to future surfing and hosting.
Interests
I love playing music. I sing and play the guitar, and now also starting to learn the ukulele. I seem to always be making things with my hands - I love crafts and can sit for hours sewing or knitting or drawing or beading or making jewelry. And recently have been learning how to weave on a loom as well. Travelling, for sure. I`m hoping do to lots more of it in the future. FOOD - growing it, cooking it, eating it. Organic farming, permaculture, intentional communities, alternative lifestyles, sustainable living, being in nature, swimming, meditation. Harmony - with myself, with others, with the world around us. Feathers - I have a ongoing love-affair (some call it "obsession") with feathers, any and all kinds - I can`t help it - they`re so beautiful!
Dreaming, singing my heart out and keeping my ears tuned for all the magic coming my way!

Music, Movies, and Books
In music my taste revolves around folk, indie, bluegrass, pshychedelic, blues and the good old groovies of 60s and 70s.
I`m also known for wanting to get married to Devendra Banhart`s beard, but I think I`m over it now.
Books: Well, first of all, the patron saint of all travellers - Jack Kerouac. I also like Marquez, Hemingway, Kurt Vonnegut, the writings of Kahlil Gibran, Joseph Campbell, C.G. Jung, Clarissa Pinkola Estes.
Movies: I used to study film and filmmaking and at that time I was really into art-cinema, film noir, the French New Wave and all that jazz. Now I enjoy sugary sweet Hollywood romantic comedies. What?
But some of my all time faves are Almost Famous, The Dreamers, Dead Man, Arizona Dream, Ghost World, Into the Wild, Tracks..stuff like that. Also, every single movie with Robert Redford in it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spending the alleged "end of the world" (according to the Mayan calendar) in a jungle in Mexico in a world Rainbow gathering. Magic like no words can describe... listening to howler monkeys and crickets blasting their hearts out on dark, sacred nights...
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe that the best and natural kind of teaching and learning happens through SHARING. Sharing stories, experiences, good times and bad, sharing food, smiles, songs. What more can you need?
What I Can Share with Hosts
Travel stories.. smiles.. songs... good conversations.. and good vibes!!
I'd love to cook you an amazing vegetarian meal..
