HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed on several couches up to now, and hosted one time. Meeting people who are living in the city you're visiting is so nice and such a good way to really get to know a city. I don't like to visit cities / countries and only see what all the tourist-offices want you to see... How people actually live in the city interests me the most.
And on the other hand, I like to show people where I live. I'm living in Rotterdam in a nice apartment close to the centre. If I'm not too busy , everyone is more than welcome to crash on my couch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch-surfed at two places in Munich in July 2008, New York City at three places in Februari 2009 and hosted someone in my own house.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Holiday in my own country! Together with a friend we bicycled on a tandem-bike to the Veluwe (nature parc in Holland). It's amazing to discover the beauty of your own country and it was so much fun to ride on the tandem-bike!
