ABOUT ME

Open-minded, friendly, sociable. I´m really in love with Spain:-) As my spanish friends say "De corazón ya eres media espanola Anne" :-) But as there are so many beautiful places, I would like to see more of the world especially of the southern countries, because I like their good weather, the hospitality and the more relaxed mentality, the good food and the feeling of slowing down and trusting in everything will come how it should. Sometimes I really need to escape from the german way of life and thinking :D
I like to meet new people from all over the world, knowing their "history" and just spending a good time, learning about other countries and languages :-) At least I can say a few words in italian which told me some italian guys when I stayed in Valencia. They even taught me how to cook an original carbonara which has nothing to do with cream like we´re used to prepare a carbonara here in germany:-) Ciao ragazzi!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to see another city staying with a native person who maybe wants to give me some good advices to get to know the city or who even shows me her favourite places or wants to spend some time with me:-) So I´ll give this way to travel a try:-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few days ago I came back home from my first trip I did on my own. I´ve never dared it before, but this time none of my friends had vacations at the same time like me. So I had the choice to stay home or go on my own. As I love Spain and especially Valencia (I did 2 internships over there a few years ago) I decided to go to Spain on my own....and it was one of the best decisions in my life :-) In the end most of the time I wasn´t alone because, apart from visiting some good friends I made there during my internships, I got to know so many nice people during my trip to Sevilla, Granada and Valencia either during the city tours, at the surfing or yoga course, or at a restaurant, going around with Blablacar and living at AirBnB rooms. It was so great to make this experience that I would like to do another step and try to go to see a city via CouchSurfing this time, because at the moment my budget is low but I really like to spend the rest of my vacations in a southern country and get to know a new city. And as I studied latin for a long time, I would finally like to visit Italy:-)
