About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm currently pursuing an anthropology degree, focusing on food justice and food systems. It is awful to me that we have enough food on this planet to feed everyone, yet people starve every day. I want to help change that and make a positive impact in my community and in the world.
ABOUT ME
My goal is to see and learn as much about the world as I can in this life I've been given.
I am kind, and considerate and giving; I think there are things worth loving in everyone. (Except Donald Trump. Fuck that guy) There are things worth loving in everything. I love to laugh, and to smile and to be happy.
PHILOSOPHY
To live openly, freely, honestly, and full of love.
It's easier said than done.
But I'm trying.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm just surfing at the moment, but when accommodation allows, I plan to give back and do some hosting of my own!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It has always been amazing so far. It seems impossible, but each new host I have sets the bar even higher for the next one! I have never had a bad time couch surfing. The kindness and hospitality of strangers who open their homes to fellow travelers never ceases to amaze me. And even more amazing is that, after a few days, those strangers become friends. It's a really beautiful community.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like indie movies, books that touch your heart, and music that can make you dance or cry (or both!). I love being introduced to new authors, artists, and films.
The lists are ever-changing, but at the moment, "The Ocean at the End of the Lane" by Neil Gaiman is a favorite book, "I Am" a favorite movie (well, documentary, really), and Nahko and Medicine for the People is one of the bands I have going on repeat continuously.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have lived and taught English in Thailand, and through that experience realized that teaching is something I'd love to do as a profession.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn how to do a cartwheel (Completely serious request here)
What I Can Share with Hosts
A meal (I can cook), company, and conversation.
A basic West Coast Swing lesson. I am not a professional AT ALL, but I think I have enough knowledge to help you start to learn, and be ready to dance socially with people!
