About Me

I have no idea how to do this without being monotonous. Simply put, I'm open-minded and a laidback person who's up for anything as long it won't land me in jail. I would say that I'm an ambivert and can be eccentric sometimes. I always appreciate good conversations plus you could count me in for food adventures esp. desserts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couch surfing is something I'm really curious about. I think it's a good way to be acquainted with a city and all of its quirks, not on a tourist perspective but that of a local. In addition, it's a great way to make friends!

Although I'm not too active as a host, I'll definitely try to show you around Melbourne or even the Philippines ( if I'm around).

Interests

-Books. Reading helps me widen mg horizon and has been one of the reasons why I'm very interested in traveling. Books are like my ticket in knowing one's culture. Despite busy schedules, I try to finish a book every once in a while.

- Food especially desserts. I love eating out. I love trying new cuisines and sometimes, exotic ones. I can never say no to chocolates or any strawberry desserts.

-Traveling. Just the thought of future destinations makes me giddy. The thought of traveling is one of my greatest procrastination.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love different kinds of books that I can't pick a favourite. As long it stirs emotions, I'm all good. I like how Haruki Murakami writes and the surrealism his books have. Gabriel Garcia Marquez's One Hundred Years of Solitude and Junot Diaz's The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao are some of the books that had profound effects on me.

As for movies. It really depends on my mood. Sometimes it would be a funny but cliche rom-com film or a complicated European film.

I don't have a single genre that I listen to. As long as there is harmony, good beat and sensible lyrics then I will like it

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Afghanistan and will go back again to do some trekking.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Maybe aside from stories, I would nag you to go to Karaoke with me. Plus, I'm a photographer so we could do photoshoots if you're keen (travel & portrait)
